Banabehari Mandir purchased

Categories: Yamuna

With 2015 ending, and our deadline to decide on the future of Banabehari Mandir over, a decision has been reached. Kar and Radha and family will purchase the ashram from Dina. This was considered the best option to keep it available to those who treasured it. While the intent is to preserve it as a spiritual sanctuary, monument to the Yamuna Devi Legacy, and a tirtha, the family would have to move there in order to maintain it. That means children and their needs will affect the atmosphere there.

However, all vastu principles will continue to be followed, and there will be very little change in the structure and layout. Tile and wood flooring will be added, and the largest change will be running water. When renovations are completed sometime in 2016 (hopefully!), pictures will be posted.

Please give your blessings that everything will work out.
