A huge thank you to our team in the UK: Kapila, Ananda, Jahnavi and Nilesh for organizing a series of 4 book events this year. Here is a report on the first one, held November 23rd.

Hare Krsna,

We had a wonderful start to the book launch here in the UK.

We began with picking up 80 books from the warehouse and putting them in our little hatch back car.

We then drove to Soho street to offer the book to Radha Londonisvara in the morning.
 

We then made our way to the venue where over 800 devotees had registered to attend the festivities at he Camden Hall.

I started selling almost immediately after setting up while Jahnavi and Ananda prepared for their musical activity.

For the Yamuna Devi tribute, Jahnavi introduced the book and presented the slide show, and then Ananda read a few passages from the book that related to Yamuna Devi, Srila Prabhupada, and the beautiful prayer Hari Hari Bifale. The intent was to share a mood from the book, as well as a passage.
    

Then Jahnavi led Ananda and some other musicians in a beautiful rendition of the bhajan.
