The USA book launch was held in Alachua at the New Raman Reti temple on Sunday, November 30th. Dinatarini devi was joined by the book designer Raghunandini devi, and team members Neem, Haribhakti, Radha and Kar. The books were supposed to arrive November 21st, but we got some unwelcome suspense, as the books did not make it until two hours before our presentation!

We first gathered on the 27th, to sing Bhaktivinoda Thakura bhajans, in the tradition we shared together for several years.

Next we joined the Festival of the Holy Name on sunday the 30th to glorify the Holy Name through Bhaktivinoda Thakur’s prayers on the Siksastakam.

Finally the truckload of books arrived, and after unloading, we only had time to change before our presentation.First the books were offered to Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundara.

Then we presented the slideshow. Here is video of it:

Neem, Haribhakti, and Srutirupa manned the book table, which featured Yamuna’s initiation beads.

Then it was time to pack and ship. We had 4 year old Ghanashyam das opening all the boxes for us, and  1 year old Dayita adding the stuffing. Over 150 boxes were shipped in 1 day!

The next morning, the teamed convened to say goodbye. Only Krishna knows when we will be together in person again, but the service continues from each of our locations.
